Dan Brice
Dan was born and raised on the West Island of Montreal. Early in life he realized that physical fitness was an integral part of living a happy, healthy lifestyle. He then moved down the “401” to St Catharines, Ontario where he balanced numerous sporting activities with playing music, school and work.
Through sports Dan gained first-hand experience of physical injuries and how these injuries can affect the rest of your lifestyle. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Ottawa, Dan spent two years studying Athletic Therapy which gave him further understanding of how the body compensates for injury and helped him gain further knowledge of the mechanisms of injury.
Married to his wife Nicole, were blessed this year with their first child. They are both enjoying watching Curtis grow each day and exploring the world around him.
Dan has run his own practice in Calgary for over 15 years, developing a treatment approach which combines accurate assessment of movement patterns with prevention and correction utilizing Custom Prescription orthotics in Calgary. Dan's business The Gaitway prescribes Custom made Orthotics and provides services in the assessment, prevention and treatment of foot and ankle conditions.
